OPERATIONS SUPPORT (TECHINCAL) AND ADMIN DIVISION HEAD

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Division Head for Operations Support (Technical) and Admin to lead and oversee our Technical, Operations Support and Administration division.  This role will manage a range of departments including Technical Planning & Design, Purchasing and Contractors Accreditation, Materials Control & Warehousing, and Project Budget Reviews. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in real estate development and operations, preferably in mass housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Planning & Design: Oversee and guide the technical planning and design processes to ensure alignment with project goals and regulatory standards.
  • Purchasing and Contractors Accreditation: Manage procurement processes, including contractor accreditation and supplier evaluations, to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Materials Control & Warehousing: Direct materials management and warehousing operations to optimize inventory control and reduce costs.
  • Project Budget Reviews: Lead comprehensive budget reviews and financial planning, ensuring projects are completed within budget and financial goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate operations, technical planning and design, construction management, procurement, mass housing, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related studies.  Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of technical planning, procurement processes, and budget management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage cross-functional departments, and drive operational excellence.
  • Superior judgment with excellent negotiation and decision-making skills and must have high regard for quality control and assurance
  • Managerial and leadership skills required
  • Adept in computer applications and with good numerical ability
  • Must be keen to details, dependable with value for high work ethics
  • Possesses dynamic personality, able to deal with all levels in the organization
  • With good communication and negotiation skills
