IT HEAD
Job Description:
- Lead the overall IT operations and project delivery functions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
- Manage and scale development and support teams (local and offshore) to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Drive execution of multiple software projects using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Oversee resource allocation, cost optimization, vendor management, and project financials (P&L ownership).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical leads to define and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Develop and enforce IT governance policies, data protection, and compliance standards.
- Act as a mentor to team leads, fostering leadership and growth across the department.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, with strong delivery and operations management background.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS/FinTech, API integrations, cloud-hosted applications, and AI/data-driven projects.
- PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – preferred.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills; managed teams of 50+ across multiple projects.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Slack, MS Project, Trello, and Google Workspace.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and DevOps culture.
- Demonstrated success in reducing costs, improving project throughput, and optimizing delivery processes.
