The Opportunity

The Finance Manager is a key leadership role at IDP Philippines. You will lead the finance function by overseeing the overall financial performance management, ensuring high standards of compliance are met, and highlight business performance opportunities while supporting the Country Director – Philippines and Regional Finance Director – SEA.

In addition to leading traditional finance activities, you will partner with commerical counterparts to lead business planning, champion process and policy change, and improvement activities across IDP Philippines business. You are expected to be an effective communicator, interacting, and influencing a range of stakeholders.

We are seeking a finance leader with a strategic vision and excellent analytical skills, accustomed to partnering across multiple dynamic business functions, possessing excellent interpersonal skills. As the Finance Manager, you should have an agile mindset, while leading and mentoring the Philippines finance team.

This full-time opportunity is based in Philippines, reporting to the Country Director and matrix reporting to Regional Finance Director – SEA

What will you bring to the organisation?   

• Over 5+years experience of financial leadership with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and post-graduate certifications in Commerce, business or analytical disciplines with solid experience in an MNC environment
• Demonstrated financial controller, and wider finance management experience partnering with internal customers
• Experienced in collaborating with business leaders, regional and global colleagues, serving as an effective business partner.
• A superior customer service attitude, showing positive work behaviors and being an excellent leader and team player
• Highly reliable and consistent performer, adept at navigating complex, dynamic, and challenging situations with professionalism and effectiveness.
• Demonstrated experience in improving finance team performance, developing, training and motivating staff to reach greater achievement
• Capability and willingness to be both hands on and provide effective supervision and guidance to staff.
• Proactive communicator with excellent written and verbal English Skills to interact effectively with global colleagues. High energy, proactive, driven and motivated
• Capable of efficiently managing multiple priorities, acting swiftly and decisively, while engaging effectively with all levels of the organisation.

• Big 4 professional experience
• AI knowledge within finance and ability to train team
