💼 Your Role:
You will manage day-to-day and month-end bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients across various industries. Using Xero, you’ll ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and strong ATO compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping and financial data entry
- Coding and entering bills and receipts
- Supplier payment processing (including ABA files)
- Payroll processing and superannuation compliance
- Bank reconciliations (AU and international accounts)
- Month-end processes: journals, accruals, adjustments
- BAS, IAS and ATO account reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliation, including intercompany loans
- Management reporting and financial insights
- Use of cloud tools such as HubDoc
👤 About You:
You are reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in your bookkeeping expertise. You’re someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and adding value to a team.
To be successful, you will have:
- 2-4 years of Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience (required)
- 5+ years total experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field
- CPA or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 2 years experience using Xero (including payroll & multi-currency)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong time management, initiative, and ability to prioritise tasks
- Willingness to work during Australian business hours
